  • Registered Scouts, including Venturers and members of Scouts BSA troops, who are 14 or who have completed 8th grade, are encouraged to accelerate their leadership by securing their unit leader's recommendation and participating in NYLT.
  • Our experience has shown that those who have already had Patrol Leader experience have a better frame of reference to assimilate the learning we encourage into their practices.
  • All NYLT participants must have a completed Annual Health & Medical Record (AHMR) with Parts A, B and C completed. Part C of the form is the physical examination which must be signed by a certified and licensed health-care provider recognized by the BSA. Recognized providers are physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistants. Substitute forms will not be accepted.   • Scoutmasters with scouts who do not meet the age/grade expectations, but who will play a leading role in their younger troop, should contact the Course Director to ensure that this program is the right fit for their scout.

  • Please note this program accepts the Adventure Card for a $50 discount. Includes Scouts from the Spirit of Adventure and Narragansett Councils, all who have cards.

$500.00 per Participant
Early Discount
Before 4/1/2021 a discount of $30.00 will apply.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable. The balance of a registration fee will be refunded after August 31, 2021 provided one of the following conditions is met: (1) The Daniel Webster Council Program Department is notified in writing of a camper cancellation at least two weeks prior to scheduled arrival; (2) In cases of injury or illness within two weeks of scheduled arrival, a letter from a healthcare provider (MD, DO, PA, or nurse practitioner) is provided with the refund request. Refunds for chartered troop resident camper cancellations will be made to the troop. Troops are responsible for paying the full registration fees for no-shows unless the refund conditions above have been met. Deposits are non-refundable, even when two weeks cancellation notice is provided. In the event the entire troop cancels its reservation, site fees are non-refundable. All space is available on a first-come, first-served basis for those paid in full. Fees are transferable to another camper.
