APEX RACE:  5K & 10K CHALLENGE

ADVANCED PROGRAM EXPERIENCE at

Griswold Scout Reservation

5K Race starts at 10am   |   10K Race starts at 11am   |   5K Awards at 11:15am   |   10K Awards at conclusion of 10K

This event is open to the public - all ages & genders!

Run, jog or walk the beautiful trails and dirt roads of Griswold Scout Reservation located in the Belknap Mountain Range in central New Hampshire!  NOTE:  Some trails are remote and feature cross-country conditions (i.e.: rocks, un-even footing, inconsistent inclines, etc.).  Guests of all ages are welcome to participate and pre-registration is highly encouraged (will save you significant time at check-in).  In addition to the Registration Fee, participants may optionally select one of the charitable giving categories to offer a donation for future Advanced Program Experience (APEX) events at Griswold Scout Reservation.

Participants can choose to participate in the 5K or the 10K or BOTH!

Cash prizes will be awarded to winners of various age brackets.  (winners can opt to receive Cash Cards in place of 'cash').

Registered Scouts: Counselors will be on-hand to assist with granting credit for fitness requirements found in the Tenderfoot rank requirements (bring your Handbook!) as well as for the Personal Fitness Merit Badge (bring your blue card!).

If possible, carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.  Upon arrival to the property, follow signs to the main parking lot where you will see the registration area (located 1.2 miles down Griswold Lane from the Main Entrance off Places Mill Road).

All proceeds of these races will benefit future Advanced Program Experience (APEX) events at Griswold Scout Reservation for Boy Scouts (ages 11-18) and co-ed Venturers (ages 14-21) as well as community participants.  Thank you for your generosity and welcome to the "Land Made for Scouting!"
