Lodge Leadership Development Conference

                           At DWC Council Office

This Conference will be held on April 13 from 8 am-5 pm at The Daniel Webster Council Office 571 Holt Ave Manchester, NH.  All Lodge and Chapter officers, chairmen, and advisers are encouraged to attend this great training opportunity but as space is limited you MUST pre-register to attend. Although there is no fee to register, your on-line registration will ensure refreshments, lunch and a trained LLD patch. 

 

The following sessions will be presented at the  Conference:

  • GETTING TO KNOW OUR BUDGET
    • What is a Budget? What is it used for? What are the common terms in budgeting? Why should I care?
  • WHY BOTHER WITH BY-LAWS?
    • What are the specific by-laws and traits of our lodge’s tradition? How does our Lodge Executive Committee operate? What is the advantages of our unique by-laws?
  • PROJECT/EVENT PLANNING
    • Learn how to plan an event, and build a team. Learn how to effectively use time, resources, results and reviews
  • LODGE & CHAPTER MANAGEMENT/BECOMING AN OFFICER
    • Understand the roles and basic expectations of officers and adviser, Explore the importance of communication between the lodge officers and advisers. Discuss the youth/adult relationship resulting from those roles
  • THE KEYS TO DELEGATION
    • Understand the necessity of delegation. Learn how to successfully identify the right person for the right task. Learn the importance of expectations, support, and communications.
