Staff Hiring Process for Summer of 2013

 1) SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.

If you have not done so already, please submit a completed Staff application ASAP (before your interview) and send to:

In addition to sending one, please bring a copy of your application to your interview!

2) SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW.

NOTE:  The public phase of interviews is now concluded.  However, some positions may become vacant between now and the start of camp in June due to unforeseen changes in people's schedules who may have already accepted a position on Staff.  In order to become aware of what positions might be vacant at this current time - or to be considered for an opening which might soon arise - please contact Mark Callahan as indicated below.

Email Mark Callahan  to request a 20-minute interview from the list of times and days below. Choose the location and time which works best for you! Interview times start on the hour and 20 minutes after and before each hour. In your email to Mark, be sure to include your full name and desired date(s) and range(s) of times which you are available. Mark will email or call you back to confirm your location, date and time. NOTE: You must have a pre-arranged interview time; DO NOT just show up!

- Daniel Webster Council (DWC) Office is:  571 Holt Avenue, Manchester (NOTE: Not Camp Carpenter).

- Griswold Scout Reservation (GSR) is:  2 Eileen Shore Road, Gilmanton Iron Works.

3) RESULTS.

Mark Callahan will contact all applicants who interviewed no later than February 1, 2013 with the result of their interview.  (...or...within two weeks of your interview if after Feb. 1st.)

OTHER NOTES:

- Each applicant must apply and interview (whether you've worked on Staff before or not).
- Previous GSR Staff can/should interview at the GSR Staff Reunion.
- If none of these days/times work, contact Mark Callahan to make alternate arrangements.
- Please arrive early so we may stay on schedule and be fair to those who follow you!
- Your picture will be taken as part of the interview process.

- Bring an extra copy of your application to your interview.
- Staff applicants must be at least 15 years of age on their first day of work.
- CIT applicants must be 14/15 years old, should apply by May 15, 2013 and do not need to interview.
